A Tribute to Eva Cassidy – Margriet Sjoerdsma

Dutch vocalist Margriet Sjoerdsma pays a heartfelt and acclaimed homage to the late American singer Eva Cassidy through her project, "A Tribute to Eva Cassidy". Sjoerdsma’s tribute focuses on the "honesty and minimalism" that defined Eva Cassidy's style. Rather than a direct vocal competition, Sjoerdsma aims to give these timeless songs her own nuance while telling Cassidy’s life story through the music.

The studio album, a live tour, and a particularly poignant collaboration with Eva's brother, violinist Dan Cassidy. You can find the album on 180g Vinyl and as a high-end Open Reel-to-Reel Tape, which uses master tape copies for uncompressed sound.
